Magic HanZi  字趣坊is a new Chinese language learning approach for all ages ,follow the 六书造字Learners are taught to recognize and interpret the basic symbols and pictographs in Chinese characters. builds up learners’ character recognition ability and vocabulary without relying on picture cards and Hanyu Pinyin. Learners shall be able to read most elementary level books and continue to practice and improve their Chinese.

Chinese HanZi is an art and each character has its story – how it is formed, how our earlier ancestors lived, their culture, how they perceived nature and much more. Chinese characters are much more interesting, not just having a meaning and pronunciation. Uncovering the story of the Chinese character also creates a deeper impression and understanding in the learner’s mind. Every Chinese character is a piece of art by itself. Each character is made up of building blocks of pictographs or symbols. The focus is placed on learning the basic blocks that build up all Chinese characters – the pictographs and symbols. The meaning of other characters can be decoded or understood more easily when they are viewed as a combination of pictographs and symbols. Learners are taught to recognize the meanings of pictographs and symbols. Learners understand each character through the building blocks that make up the character.
