Draw upon Metaphor
Metaphor is an essential tool in teaching! When talking to our students on the journey into unknown territory, we apply abstract thinking (character and expression) to a physical activity (playing the instrument) that can be very mystifying.if we use kind of metaphors such as comparisons, images, similes, allegories, figures of speech so on,presenting the challenge imaginatively, our teach will result in more effective.
Why imagination?
Imagination lives in the right side of the brain,as soon as the imagination is engaged, the difference in what you'll hear will be very striking.
It makes our sensory experience meaningful, enabling us to interpret and make sense of it, making perception more than mere physical stimulation of sense organs.
It produces mental imagery, visualization, and otherwise which is what makes it possible for us think outside the confines of our present perceptual reality.
To consider memories of the past and possibilities for the future and to weigh alternatives against one another.
Thus, Imagination makes possible all our think about what is,what has been, and perhaps most important what might be.
