The right way approach means
to teach each student on their own merit
to unlock the treasure trove that lies in the right side of the brain.
The right brain is in charge of three main areas of musical activity: aural, memory and improvisation. If we constantly do right-brain work and use right-brain activities to teach at first, it will affect and expand our own minds as well as allowing us to teach in much greater depth. Also, this will cause our students to think like a musician.
