Music helps us to communicate through ideas and emotions in ways that no other stimulus can.it offers a whole range of other benefits too.it also contributes unequivocally to the positive develop of human brain.

Our teaching thoughts

Everything is connected!
Music as well! Music is about integration, all the elements of music are connected. We use our thoroughness, imagination and practicality   approach to make connections, presenting the
ingredients with a series of musically linked activities based on the right-and left-brain activities. Through systematic, methodical processes such as Visual (writing analysing), Auditory (call-and-response, transposing, internalisation) and Kinaesthetic (writing, improvising, instrument playing, composing). By teaching in the thorough and broader manner, makes our students think musically and independently. We are not simply teaching them “the instrument” or “piece”, we are teaching them to become independent learners and we are giving them the confidence to develop their own insights into great music world.

Benefits from our teaching

It brings the imagination to the foreground of teaching

It encourages lesson to flow more spontaneously

It encourages children to take a much more active part in their own learning

It leads to “musical think”

It encourages whole brain, holistic thinking

It offers an exciting alternative to compartmentalised teaching

It introduces many more areas of musical learning into the lesson

It puts aural at the centre of musical learning

It teaches musical “ingredients” so that children learn effectively allowing them to apply their understanding more successfully

It improves the quality of practice

It encourages great positive motivation-Both children and teacher is less likely to become bored.

Ultimately it produces independent musical thinkers, so the likelihood of giving up is reduced and more people out there can be given the opportunity to live enriched lives through the power of making music.
